Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to create compelling business presentations. The candidate should also have strong analytical skills and technical acumen, along with proficiency in Microsoft products and marketing technology. In this role, the Channel Manager will engage in strategic planning and channel support, balancing market trends and customer requests with internal capabilities and company strategy. They will develop and execute business plans and brand portfolio strategies for their channel segment, lead cross-functional teams, and serve as the Program/Project Manager for new product launches. The position also involves protecting the customer experience across all channel brands while supporting business goals, creating marketing materials, and establishing a marketing plan to drive brand voice in the channel. Additionally, the Channel Manager will conduct market analysis, track trends, and provide insights into product performance and brand performance. They will manage agency relationships, execute new channel initiatives, and adhere to the company's core values and principles. The role includes supervisory responsibilities over Associate Channel Managers, making it essential for the candidate to demonstrate leadership and effective team management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for a targeted business segment.
  • Provide strategic input to key company initiatives and manage project execution.
  • Oversee the new product life cycle including introductions, improvements, and discontinuances.
  • Couple product strategy with marketing strategy including pricing and competitive positioning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and meetings involving sales, product management, and finance.
  • Create launch presentations and videos for new products and communicate product discontinuances.
  • Establish marketing plans to drive brand voice in the channel and train sales teams on brand programs.
  • Build and execute strategy for channel merchandising including marketing assets and product packaging.
  • Track market trends and conduct competitive price analysis.
  • Manage agency relationships and identify opportunities for process efficiency.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategy and manage price changes with retail partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, project management, or product management.
