About the position

The Channel Manager for Network & Security at Arrow Electronics is responsible for driving growth in channel partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and engaging with partners to enhance sales performance. This role focuses on both nurturing existing relationships and onboarding new partners, with a strong emphasis on selling Network & Security technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively call and engage with established partners to grow sales for assigned accounts.
  • Rebuild underpenetrated and neglected partner relationships.
  • Sell new suppliers' solutions to partners.
  • Leverage an internal team of resources to hunt for new software and service opportunities.
  • Onboard new partners and focus on growing new business by working from the end customer back through channel partners.
  • Conduct outside sales meetings with partners, suppliers, and end customers regularly.
  • Position Arrow's service offerings to sell 'with' the Partner community to the end customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years in customer-facing direct sales roles.
  • Experience selling in the Channel.
  • Experience selling Network & Security technologies.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Process-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in SF.com and forecasting accuracy.
  • Self-starter with a gritty and coachable attitude.
  • Team-oriented leader with a strong work ethic and proven track record in a KPI-based Sales Model.
  • Willingness to travel at least 35% of the time.
