About the position

The Channel Manager for Nomex® and Kevlar® is responsible for managing key garment manufacturers and driving overall strategy in the North American Military Thermal segment. This role involves promoting the sale of Nomex® and Kevlar® solutions, managing relationships with mill channel customers, and executing mid- to long-term growth strategies. The position requires collaboration with marketing teams and a global team to ensure effective decision-making and sales coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of fabric mill channel strategy for Personal Protection markets.
  • Develop strategy for fabric mill channel in partnership with marketing teams.
  • Develop and lead execution of key account strategies for military garment manufacturers and NA mills.
  • Manage transactional relationships with direct customers, including supply commitments and pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, price changes, and sales agreements consistent with segment strategy.
  • Facilitate relationships between DuPont and customers, including product development and joint marketing.
  • Track and drive key military programs.
  • Participate in military trade associations, trade shows, and conferences to influence military budgets and trends.
  • Communicate information across the organization and maintain key account information in SFDC.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competition, and customer wins/losses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Approximately 15-20% travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple channel accounts preferred.
  • Experience negotiating contracts/agreements.
  • Technical knowledge of DuPont™ Nomex® and/or Kevlar® products.
  • Experience with personal protective equipment and military thermal protection needs.
  • Experience with industry partners.
