The Manager, Retail (Product Category) Marketing at Kohler will be responsible for developing and leading the marketing strategy and execution for owned product categories within the Retail Channel. This role is crucial in elevating and differentiating the KOHLER Brand across all retail customers, including major retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, and Menards. The Manager will be accountable for achieving sales growth and profitability objectives while implementing a comprehensive ‘Go-to-Market' marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans to support new product launches. This involves collaboration with cross-functional leaders in media, in-store and digital promotions, packaging, and merchandising. In this position, the Manager will identify market, customer, and consumer needs, developing and implementing retailer marketing strategies, product category portfolios, and promotions aimed at driving market share. Specific responsibilities include managing the Retail Marketing Promotional Calendar for assigned product categories, which encompasses recommendation, financial evaluation, forecasting, execution, and post-promo analysis of category-specific promotions both in-aisle and online. The Manager will also lead all Retailer Marketing efforts, working directly with Retailer Merchant and Marketing teams, as well as internal Sales and Category Management teams, to drive sales in assigned categories. The role requires the development of Retail Brand strategy and presentations for retailer Business/Product Line Reviews to enhance in-aisle and digital market share. The Manager will create brand demand and preference by understanding end-to-end customer insights of the product category, driving a differentiated brand strategy through innovative project selling merchandising to enhance the customer journey. Additionally, the Manager will work closely with Product Category Management to develop meaningful product category portfolios, analyze performance, understand the competitive landscape, and drive retail product vitality while developing new product launch plans.
