About the position

The Channel Manager Telecom position at AireSpring involves generating new business opportunities through external sales agents, focusing on selling the company's data and voice products to businesses. The role requires recruiting and training sales agents, attending sales calls, and ensuring agents are knowledgeable about AireSpring's offerings. The Channel Manager will also lead solution development efforts to meet the needs of agents and their customers, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and achieving sales quotas.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through external sales agents.
• Recruit new and productive Sales Agents/Channel Partners.
• Attend sales calls with sales agents to present and assist in closing AireSpring opportunities with end-users.
• Ensure agents are educated and fully knowledgeable of AireSpring products, processes, and procedures.
• Work with agents on thorough order submission per AireSpring's requirements.
• Lead solution development efforts that best address agent and agent customer's needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
• Achieve assigned sales quota.
• Meet assigned expectations for agent retention.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction rating with agents and agent's customers.
• Follow-up and assist agents and customers with customer service requests.
• Proactively seek out new opportunities.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 2+ years in prior telecom sales or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunications voice and data products.

Nice-to-haves

• BA/BS degree; 4+ years of related telecom sales experience with a proven track record selling through telecom channel partners or data VARs agents.
• Data proficiency with MPLS.
