About the position

The Channel Marketing Sr. Associate will provide onsite event support primarily for firm-wide sponsorships in the sports and entertainment category, including high-profile events like the US Open and PGA. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create bespoke client experiences, particularly for ultra-high net worth clients, and ensuring the successful execution of events and activations. The position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Brand Management team/internal Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to develop client invitations and event materials for all events/experiences/S&E.
  • Oversee and execute events using USWM guidelines in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Create pre and post event briefs for each event.
  • Collaborate with communications teams to execute detailed communication plans for events.
  • Work with field representatives to ensure appropriate clients and prospects are invited to events and track invites and attendees.
  • Maintain, communicate, and track event successes on a daily basis.
  • Work with the Third Party Oversight and Compliance teams on contracts and agreements, maintaining budgets.
  • Write and present Business Cases to support event budget concepts.
  • Process invoices and track expenses with Accounts Payable.
  • Manage and maintain promotional giveaways.
  • Produce ad-hoc event reports for business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years prior experience in event planning, including vendor contract negotiations and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or another relevant field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale and smaller-scale events that are brand-relevant and high quality.
  • Ability to work as a partner across multiple teams/organizations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think and react quickly during event execution.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and beyond traditional business hours when necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in media, marketing or the Wealth Management industry.
