About the position

The Channel Marketing Manager (Content Specialist) at Lee Kum Kee will play a pivotal role in planning, creating, and executing digital and social media content aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving sales within the Asian food service segment in the U.S. and Canada. This position is essential for promoting the company's products and services, ensuring they meet the objectives set for the Asian Channel, which includes retail, foodservice, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will develop strategies that resonate with chefs and restaurant owners, focusing on their unique needs and preferences. In this role, the manager will be responsible for understanding the dynamics of the food service market, particularly the Asian segment, and leveraging this knowledge to create loyalty and reward programs that foster long-term relationships with customers. The manager will lead digital and social campaigns, overseeing all aspects from briefing to execution, optimization, and evaluation. A key part of the job will involve utilizing the company app to gather customer insights and feedback, which will inform strategies to enhance the customer experience. The Channel Marketing Manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders, including chefs, agencies, and internal teams, to produce engaging content such as recipes, images, and videos. This role requires a proactive approach to staying informed about global and local food trends, which will help in promoting product usage and inspiring menu development within the chef community. The manager will be tasked with managing individual projects, ensuring they are completed within specified timelines and budgets, while also being adaptable to other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital and social media content that promotes the brand and engages the target audience in the US and Canada Asian food service community.
  • Drive the lifecycle of chefs and restaurants, achieving customer goals throughout the buying journey.
  • Communicate with Asian chefs and communities about the benefits and innovations of the products.
  • Lead Asian food service digital and social campaigns, including briefing, managing, preparing, executing, optimizing, and evaluating campaigns.
  • Utilize the company app to assess and analyze customer insights, feedback, and data to identify pain points and understand consumer behaviors.
  • Improve customer experience using analytics and derived insights from the app.
  • Follow up with customer inquiries and collaborate with the sales team to address questions and close sales.
  • Ensure the app content is up to date and effectively engages chefs in the US and Canada.
  • Stay informed about global and local food trends to promote product usage and inspire menu ideas.
  • Collaborate with agencies and vendors to manage social media, create content, and execute advertising campaigns.
  • Work with chefs on recipe development and new menu ideation.
  • Manage individual projects to achieve objectives within specified timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • 5-7 years of related experience and/or training in marketing or a similar field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and PowerPivot) and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI and SAP Hana is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, comprehension, and project management skills.
  • Experience in digital advertising, social media, content creation, media production, and community outreach.
  • Experience in the food industry or foodservice industry is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and organized with strong analytical skills.
