About the position

The Channel Operations Manager-Retail at Eaton's Residential Wiring Devices Division is responsible for cross-functional coordination between the retail sales team and various departments within the organization. This hybrid role involves monitoring retail expenses and marketing budgets, leveraging data to recommend competitive programs, and utilizing negotiation skills to resolve complex issues. The position requires approximately 25-30% travel and reports directly to the Director of Retail Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor and report out on retail KPI's (sales, orders, backorders, fill rate, promotion performance).
  • Develop and distribute product mix reports to drive opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with the team on promotions, customer communications, and product launches.
  • Manage the process and requirements for on-boarding for new Agents / Retail Team Hires.
  • Communicate code changes and recommend new products to account managers and the product team.
  • Track all budget spending, work with AP to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Own project management associated with customer Product Line Reviews.
  • Clean up the Geo Codes, Sales IDs, and SIP Templates to create efficiency in sales reporting and goal setting.
  • Manage fines tracking across all accounts; responsible for managing customer fines reporting, leading discussions on root cause and counter measures.
  • Monitor all account level deductions and programs.
  • Own retail team price increase process and deployment strategy to include the cost justification documentation and coordination with pricing team.
  • Maintain and update all contracts on SharePoint.
  • Develop financial modeling associated with new product introductions, store distribution growth, and retail resets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations and/or marketing.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with big-box accounts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail marketing/sales.
