About the position

The Channel Sales Lead for Honeywell Building Automation (BA) is responsible for driving the sales of Building Management System (BMS) Control products and services through reseller channels. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales and profit goals while ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the strategic account management function, driving the development and execution of strategic customer account plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing innovative solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through effective account management and contract negotiations
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence and drive long-term business growth
  • Drive Engineering Specifications of Commercial Control Products
  • Manage the HCI (Contractor) Partner Business driving organic growth as well as New Partner identification, onboarding, and development.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: 7+ years
  • Segment/Market/Channel Experience: 7+ years
  • Commercial HVAC Controls (BMS/DDC/ATC) experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degree(s) in Business Management or other relevant discipline
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or other relevant discipline
  • Advanced proficiency or Basic trainer level knowledge in Challenger methodology, Honeywell technologies/solutions
  • Customer Centric Mentality - Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
  • Business Acumen and Vertical Expertise - In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and Business Strategy
  • Results Driven - Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment
  • Market Awareness - Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
  • Competitive and Trend Awareness - Understanding of competitor platforms, products and technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
