About the position

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for managing all channel sales partners within the Texas region, focusing on driving revenue generation through engineered solutions tailored to customer needs. This role involves active participation in marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services, ensuring alignment with the company's mission of delivering sustainable motion and fluid control technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple agent partners in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets and drive business growth.
  • Pursue sales opportunities via telephone and face-to-face presentations for new and existing customers.
  • Stay informed of new products, services, and customer interests.
  • Identify and fulfill additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to adjust strategies for long-term growth.
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries regarding contracts and product issues.
  • Forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, and long-term basis.
  • Conduct outage management activities including preventative maintenance planning and customer inventory management.
  • Design opportunity strategies using established selling tools and resources.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of sales experience with a proven record of revenue growth or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or management preferred.
  • Experience managing channel partners is a must.
  • Valve and flow control sales experience preferred, including spare parts, services, and repairs.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Proficient in Sales Software/CRM tools, with Salesforce experience being a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with Miller Heiman methodology is a plus.
