Motorola Solutions is seeking a Channel Sales Support Engineer (PSE) for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Territory. This role is pivotal in supporting the Regional Channel Sales Manager (RCSM) and Channel Account Manager (CAM) in building partnerships with Security and IT Integrators, Building Automation dealers, and Architecture & Engineering (A&E) firms. The PSE will be responsible for fostering new customer relationships within both partner and end-user communities, ensuring that sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives are met. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the technology phase of the sales process, which includes reporting and providing technical support during the sales cycle. The PSE will co-develop training materials and conduct training sessions for company products tailored for the channel. They will also collaborate with the sales team to create presentation materials and perform technical presentations to both the channel and end-users. A significant aspect of this role involves driving proof of concept and registered projects alongside the sales team, providing end-of-evaluation reports that illustrate product value and assist in project closure. The PSE will act as a liaison between the helpdesk, sales, and the channel to address technical questions that arise during the sales process, and will also provide technical support and setup at trade shows. This position requires travel to trade shows, conferences, and client locations, making it essential for the PSE to be an independent leader who can manage their responsibilities effectively while reporting to the Global Channel Support Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, engineering, or solutions architecture, with a focus on technology and physical security solutions.
