About The Position
The position is responsible for providing ethical and spiritual leadership and pastoral care to residents, their families, and staff. The role includes providing spiritual growth opportunities and serving as a visible presence of God's love and grace within the community. The individual will assess the needs of pastoral care for residents and their family members, prepare and lead Sunday worship, mid-week Chapel, and Bible Studies, and work with Life Enrichment to provide holistic support of residents. Additionally, the role involves planning and leading memorial/funeral services, providing crisis intervention, support, and counseling, and continuing personal growth through reading, reflection, and writing devotionals and articles for publications and continuing education. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
