About the position
This position is for an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney specializing in Chapter 11 cases, offering services as 'Of Counsel', 'Co-Counsel', or 'Expert Witness'. The attorney provides legal support and expertise in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, assisting clients in navigating complex legal proceedings and ensuring successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and expertise in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
- Act as an Expert Witness in bankruptcy-related matters.
- Serve as 'Of Counsel' or 'Co-Counsel' for clients in Chapter 11 cases.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Chapter 11 plans.
- Represent clients in court hearings related to Chapter 11 cases.
- Conduct legal research and prepare expert witness reports.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and procedures.
- Ability to prepare and present expert witness reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Certification in the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with remote legal consultations via ZOOM.
- Familiarity with recent Chapter 11 court decisions and confirmations.
