About the position

The Charge Master Analyst - Revenue Integrity is responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Charge Description Master (CDM) for both hospital and physician services, ensuring compliance with charging policies and procedures. This role involves facilitating projects to enhance accurate charging practices and supporting the integration of third-party tools. The analyst serves as a liaison for charge capture development and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with various stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding the Chargemaster.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Enterprise Charge Description Master (CDM) for hospital and physician services.
• Ensure compliance with charging policies and procedures.
• Facilitate projects aimed at redesigning clinical workflows for accurate charging practices.
• Support the integration of third-party tools related to charge capture.
• Act as a primary liaison for charge capture development and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clinical Care Partners, Revenue Cycle Associates, and IT Business Analysts.

Requirements

• 3 years experience with CDM management.
• 3 years experience in an academic or large healthcare system.
• 3 years experience as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
• 3 years chargemaster management experience.
• Knowledge of third-party regulatory requirements including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated advanced computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Skill to read and correctly interpret governmental and commercial payor regulations.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
• Epic PB Resolute certification.
