Responsibilities
- Pass medications to 30 to 45 residents
- Check and transcribe medication orders
- Audit medication cart and reorder medications as needed
- Assist with the resident dining process
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform catheter insertions
- Treat bedsores
- Administer injections and medications as per doctor orders
- Conduct dressing changes
- Administer oxygen and monitor blood glucose levels
- Observe and report symptoms to the doctor for interventions
- Document nursing care per facility guidelines
- Oversee and assist CNAs with direct care needs of residents
- Provide quality nursing care to all residents
Requirements
- CPR Certification
- RN License or LPN License
- BLS Certification
- Experience in acute care
- Entry-level nursing experience
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to float as charge nurse
