About the position

The Charge RN for General Medsurg Nights at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is responsible for overseeing patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical unit. This role involves managing pre- and post-operative care for a diverse patient population while collaborating with top surgeons in Oklahoma. The position offers a sign-on bonus and various incentives for both experienced and new graduate RNs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in the medical surgical unit.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and state regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff.

Requirements

• Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is acceptable.
