About the position

The Charlotte and Walter Kohler Chair in Business and Director of Graduate Programs at Lakeland University is a full-time, tenure-track position responsible for overseeing the MBA and MS-LOD programs. The role includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, managing program operations, and serving as a community outreach coordinator to enhance enrollment. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative oversight for the MBA and MS-LOD programs.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management, strategy, accounting, and economics.
  • Serve as the graduate programs' community outreach coordinator to drive enrollment.
  • Review and approve MBA/MS-LOD student applications.
  • Oversee adjunct instructors for the MBA/MS-LOD programs, including hiring and evaluation.
  • Support course scheduling and recommend adjunct faculty assignments.
  • Conduct annual assessments and prepare program reviews for the MBA and MS-LOD programs.
  • Advise students and participate in committee work.
  • Collaborate with external businesses and internal functions to ensure unified efforts in program promotion.
  • Prepare an annual report on the work of the Director of Graduate Programs.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree in Business with a concentration in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant teaching experience at the graduate level.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA, CMA, CFA preferred but not required.
