About the position
The Charter Captain position involves leading fishing trips in Alaska's Cook Inlet during the 2025 fishing season, specifically from mid-June to August. The role requires a USCG licensed captain who is people-oriented, safety-conscious, and a team player. While previous experience is preferred, training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead fishing trips for salmon and halibut in Alaska's Cook Inlet.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers and crew during trips.
- Maintain the vessel and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests on board.
Requirements
- USCG licensed captain required.
- Ability to pass a drug test and participate in random drug testing throughout employment.
- Strong people skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a charter captain or in a similar role.
