Responsibilities

• Bond compliance tracking and reporting
• County billing audits
• Financial reporting consultation and analysis
• Budget projections
• Monthly financial reports
• Attending and presenting at school board meetings
• Review reports and analysis with school staff, management, board
• Additional assistance to the CEO and CFO as needed

Requirements

• Ability to complete various accounting tasks, such as payroll, accounts payable, deposits, bank reconciliations + more
• Ability to complete data entry tasks timely and accurately
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and clients
• Ability to attend school board meetings some evenings
• Ability to commute to work in-office at Durham, NC when needed
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Well-organized and high-attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree required
