About the position

The Chat Sales Agent at Allstate is responsible for establishing new customer relationships through the Chat platform, acting as a trusted advisor to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate insurance coverages and products. This role involves quoting and issuing various insurance policies, including auto, motorcycle, renters, and homeowners insurance, while providing empathetic and efficient service that reflects the company's brand and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and deepens customer relationships by providing empathetic, efficient, and responsive service.
  • Proactively identifies the need for and offers additional insurance products and services to build and retain a profitable, multi-line portfolio.
  • Takes reactive and proactive chats to gather information and close sales on personal lines insurance.
  • Achieves daily sales and productivity standards.
  • Thrives in an environment of change and is committed to professional development.
  • Efficiently uses resources to accurately issue policies in compliance with underwriting and state mandated requirements.
  • Assists new customers with navigating Esurance.com to complete the sales process and ensure a successful onboarding experience.
