About the position

The Chef Manager at Eurest is responsible for overseeing the culinary and food service operations, ensuring high-quality meal delivery in corporate cafes and executive dining rooms. This role involves managing inventory, ordering, menu development, and cost controls while promoting sustainability and local sourcing of food products.

Responsibilities

  • Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure P&L accountability and manage contract services effectively.
  • Focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.
  • Promote sustainability within the culinary operations.

Requirements

  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Team management and cost control experience.
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
