About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Blending professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for blending chemicals according to specified formulas and ensuring that all processes adhere to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, laboratory practices, and lean manufacturing principles, contributing to the efficient operation of our blending processes while maintaining compliance with CGMP regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate blending equipment and machinery to mix chemicals accurately according to established formulas.
  • Monitor blending processes to ensure consistency and quality of the final product.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Assist in packaging finished products for storage or shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff for effective materials handling and inventory management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to lean manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of blending operations, including batch logs and quality control data.
  • Follow all safety protocols and CGMP guidelines during chemical handling and blending activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in a chemical blending or related manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machining processes and fabrication techniques is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in materials handling practices, including the safe operation of forklifts.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks or pre-employment screenings as mandated by company policy.
