Responsibilities

  • Provide environmental support to clients in various industries including fuels, mining, manufacturing, and power.
  • Read and interpret environmental regulations and permits.
  • Calculate emissions and prepare compliance submittals.
  • Write regulatory and technical analysis memos.
  • Develop compliance tools to assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Compile permit applications and assist clients with the permitting process.
  • Engage in on-site client support, which may require out-of-town travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering or a related scientific degree.
  • Internship or post-college professional experience in industry, an environmental agency, or environmental consulting.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in using spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to travel and adjust personal schedule for project needs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
