The Chemical Engineer I role at Honeywell is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are beginning their careers in engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of test procedures and conducting routine engineering evaluation tests. This includes performing product and process capability studies, quality audits, and other engineering evaluations. You will prepare evaluation reports, analyze discrepancies, and make recommendations aimed at improving productivity and quality while reducing flowtime. Additionally, you will define and acquire the necessary tooling, gauging, and other equipment to ensure product quality. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will interact with both internal and external stakeholders to help resolve routine design, development, production, and acceptance issues. You will also support evaluations regarding technological advances that can enhance productivity and quality, reduce flowtime, and improve operational surety. When applicable, you will provide peer mentorship and support to your colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
