About the position

As a Chemical Engineering Intern at Dyno Nobel, you will gain valuable manufacturing experience by collaborating with Engineers, Operations, and Management. This internship focuses on applying your education to real-world projects while ensuring compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to achieving Zero Harm through safety initiatives and will have the opportunity to learn about plant operations and contribute to various engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety.
• Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value.
• Participate in BEx initiatives and activities.
• Work with the operations team daily to learn and understand plant operations.
• Spend time understanding the business while being mentored by an assigned manager and Senior Engineer.
• Collaborate with Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks.
• Involvement with researching and designing projects.
• Present findings/results on projects from the internship at the end of the program.

Requirements

• Junior level standing pursuing a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
