About the position

The Chemical Engineer position at Westinghouse involves contributing to the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
  • Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required (other engineering disciplines will not be considered).
  • Prior Nuclear Industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  • Ability to apply general engineering principles and techniques to assist in the investigation, evaluation, and solution finding for operational issues.
  • Ability to quantify and qualify engineering opinions and judgment with calculations and supporting documentation.
