About the position

The Process Engineer will be responsible for processing data compilations and report generation for a petroleum pilot plant. This role involves compiling and building reports for pilot plant runs, collaborating with operators to generate product blends, and utilizing MS Office and CAD software for report generation and design. The engineer will also execute chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments, support the operation of the chemical pilot plant, and lead operators on shifts.

Responsibilities

• Compile and build reports for petroleum pilot plant runs.
• Work with operators to generate product blends.
• Utilize MS Office and CAD software for report generation and design.
• Execute chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments.
• Build and maintain test equipment.
• Compile and report test data.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in the chemical pilot plant.
• Assist with safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Prepare samples and clean up the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to multi-task and complete thermo calculations.
• Mechanical inclination to build process systems.
• Experience with P&ID and BOM is preferred.
• Familiarity with Autocad, Autoplant, Solidworks, Visio, and MS Office.
