About the position

The position involves developing comprehensive training materials for operators and process engineers in the petro-chemical, refinery, and pipeline industries. The role requires proficiency in various software systems to create site-specific training content and conduct classroom training sessions. The candidate will also engineer solutions to support client work scopes and develop training packages for Operator Training Simulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive training material for operators and process engineers.
• Create process drawings, flow and process control descriptions, and equipment training materials.
• Design basic and advanced board operator training modules for DCS operation and troubleshooting process deviations.
• Utilize software systems such as MS Visio, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Storyline 360, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, and MS Outlook to create training content.
• Conduct classroom training for advanced distillation and basic process technology.
• Engineer solutions to support various client work scopes as needed.
• Develop training packages for Operator Training Simulators in collaboration with UOP and Honeywell.

Requirements

• Strong background and experience in troubleshooting related to training board operators.
• Proficiency in MS Visio, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Storyline 360, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, and MS Outlook.
• Experience in designing and developing training materials for the petro-chemical, refinery, and pipeline industries.
