About the position

The Chemical Engineer position at GP Strategies Corporation involves developing comprehensive training materials for operators and process engineers in the petro-chemical, refinery, and pipeline industries. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive training material for operators and process engineers.
  • Create process drawings, flow and process control descriptions, and equipment training materials.
  • Design and develop site-specific training materials for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct classroom training for advanced distillation and basic process technology.
  • Develop training packages for Operator Training Simulators in conjunction with UOP and Honeywell.
  • Troubleshoot training-related issues for board operators.
  • Engineer solutions to support various client work scopes.

Requirements

  • Strong background and experience in training board operators.
  • Proficiency in MS Visio, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Storyline 360, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, and MS Outlook.
  • Experience in developing training materials for the petro-chemical, refinery, and pipeline industries.
