About the position

The Chemical Engineer position is responsible for managing tasks and projects related to the design and development of products, particularly in the defense-aerospace pyrotechnic devices sector. The role involves developing energetic material processes, product assembly processes, and performing various analyses. The engineer will liaise with customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while troubleshooting technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned tasks and projects related to product design and development.
• Develop and perform energetic material processes.
• Design and develop product assembly processes.
• Conduct safety analyses and testing for products.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• 3 to 5 years of prior engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal.
