About the position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a highly qualified and motivated chemical engineer to support GEOINT production and advance non-literal GEOINT analytical processes. The role involves utilizing advanced remote sensing tools for data analysis and improving techniques for the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data. The engineer will collaborate with a team of professionals to tackle complex exploitation issues.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data to produce and disseminate GEOINT products
  • Provide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process development
  • Analyze and develop processes to support the exploitation of unique, anomalous, and difficult datasets utilizing engineering principles and a science-based analytical approach
  • Perform algorithm development for complex data exploitation processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong technical writing and briefing skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data from passive sensors, especially spectral and/or thermal image data
  • Experience with ENVI and/or similar software tools
  • Ability to code/script, such as in Python, MATLAB, R, and/or IDL
