About The Position
As a Chemical Process Engineer in the Development Program at Armstrong World Industries, you will be immersed in a supportive culture that recognizes you as a key player in the company's future. Your responsibilities will include managing raw materials, controlling processes, ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new products while optimizing existing processes. The training experience is designed to help you transition smoothly into a full-time process engineer role. Your initial 3-6 months will be spent at the Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA, where you will learn about the engineering processes and key technologies used in ceiling manufacturing. After completing the development program, you will be assigned to a permanent position at one of the plants, where you will continue to grow your career based on your strengths and interests.
