About the position

Your responsibilities will include managing raw materials, controlling processes, ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new products while optimizing existing processes. The training experience is designed to help you transition smoothly into a full-time process engineer role. Your initial 3-6 months will be spent at the Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA, where you will learn about the engineering processes and key technologies used in ceiling manufacturing. After completing the development program, you will be assigned to a permanent position at one of the plants, where you will continue to grow your career based on your strengths and interests. Responsibilities

  • Provide process engineering expertise to plant locations.
  • Participate in or lead team efforts involving technical and manufacturing disciplines.
  • Manage raw material processes and product flow.
  • Ensure product quality and troubleshoot production problems.
  • Establish equipment Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Run plant tests to develop new products.
  • Modify formulations and process settings to increase capacity.
  • Work on wastewater treatment projects.
  • Implement projects to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Must have graduated within a year of the start date, or be graduating in December 2024 or May 2025.
  • Unlimited authorization to work in the United States.
