About the position

The Process Engineer will lead engineering initiatives to enhance safety, product quality, delivery, and cost efficiency in a manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes continuous improvement through data analysis and collaboration with various teams, focusing on Lean Manufacturing principles and workforce engagement to foster a safe and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and engineering excellence in safety, product quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Analyze plant data and collaborate with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement and transformational activities.
  • Establish and maintain production and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in the development of new products and processes.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts to reduce product lead time.
  • Audit plant activities for compliance and maintain documentation.
  • Interact with vendors for project implementation and proposals.
  • Lead the development and sustainability of 5S practices.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions with various teams.
  • Collect and analyze process and production data to identify trends.
  • Ensure quality through analysis of raw materials and final product certification.
  • Drive variable cost productivity through process improvements.
  • Develop trial plans and monitor execution.
  • Reduce customer complaints through root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years' experience as Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Capital Project Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Decisive and hands-on approach.
  • Energetic self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical expertise.
