About The Position
The Chemical Process Engineer leverages their experience and expertise to implement and optimize manufacturing processes. They work closely with cross-functional resources from Research & Development, Analytical, Quality, Operations and Engineering to implement solutions and mentor members of the Engineering team. The role ensures process operations in the production and small scale facilities can be performed in a safe, predictable and consistent manner, following all safety & environmental regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The Engineer is responsible for the preparation of cGMP and Process Safety Management (PSM) documentation and the completion of investigations related to manufacturing processes. They foster a positive and professional work environment fully committed to continuous improvement and lean principles. This position offers significant opportunities for technical learning as well as growth in leadership skills and competencies. The Chemical Process Engineer is on-site in South Haven, MI and reports to the Senior Technical Engineering Manager.
