About the position

The position involves assisting with the re-writing and creation of ISO documents under the guidance of the Senior Quality Associate/Technical Writer. The role requires collaboration with project leads to review and understand current document control requirements, ensuring that all documentation meets the necessary standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project leads to define and document processes for checking out and checking in documents for review, utilizing the existing electronic document management system. Additionally, the role entails working with area subject matter experts and the Senior Quality Associate/Technical Writer to review and re-write over 300 documents. This includes providing onsite services where document accuracy is reviewed in both the manufacturing area and office environment, with consultation from subject matter experts. The candidate will analyze the information required for the development or update of procedures necessary for both normal and emergency conditions, determining the clearest and most logical way to present information for reader comprehension. Editing functions will be performed within a compatible word processing program for documents that are overdue or coming due within the timeframe of this project. The candidate will handle typing, duplication, and distribution of documents within the system, ensuring that all documents are complete, understandable, and accurately represent the appropriate visual presentation of data. It is essential to follow all client documentation practices and policies throughout this process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite services for document accuracy review in manufacturing and office environments

Requirements

  • Prefer technical degree
  • Chemical manufacturing experience
  • QA knowledge as related to SOPs
  • Three years of relevant experience
