As a Chemical Engineer or Chemistry Co-op at Chemours, you will be part of the Pigment Technology team, working in a state-of-the-art research facility. This position is designed for students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, gaining hands-on experience through various projects. You will collaborate closely with experienced R&D professionals on process and pigment technology developmental projects, contributing to innovative solutions that harness the power of chemistry to improve lives and redefine industries. Your role will involve participating in process safety management activities and reviews, contributing to team meetings and conference calls, and supporting multiple projects through data analysis. You will also be responsible for developing data analysis tools and maintaining data recordkeeping and organization in accordance with Chemours policies for the protection of intellectual property. The lab work will include the design, operation, and optimization of lab-scale unit operations such as reactors, crystallizers, distillation columns, filtration systems, rotary kiln dryers, and mixers.
