About the position

The Chess Instructor for Kids at Bright Synergy Kids Club is responsible for teaching chess to schoolchildren in a classroom setting as part of an afterschool enrichment program. The role involves developing lesson plans, creating a positive learning environment, and maintaining student attendance records. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lessons that meet the needs of the students.
• Create a positive learning environment for students.
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Teach chess to 1st to 8th grade schoolchildren, managing groups of up to 16 kids.

Requirements

• Classroom experience in teaching or related fields.

• Must have own transportation.
