About the position

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Avera Medical Group is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational performance and strategic direction of the medical group. Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic planning and new program development for Avera Medical Group.
  • Accountable for operational leadership and performance of medical group operations.
  • Ensure continued improvement in quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.
  • Interview, hire, develop, train, and retain employees.
  • Plan, assign, and lead work within the team.
  • Appraise performance and provide coaching to employees.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in clinic operations.
  • Demonstrated management experience is required.
  • Engagement in leadership and growth opportunities is required.
