About the position

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Facilities Management, Procurement, and Information Technology at CAMBA is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's facilities, procurement processes, and IT systems. This role involves managing capital projects, lease negotiations, vehicle fleet management, safety protocols, and procurement policies, ensuring compliance and effective communication across departments. The CAO will lead a team to support CAMBA's mission of providing essential services to the community, while also managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of CAMBA sites.
  • Manage the bidding process for expenses exceeding $5,000 related to facilities.
  • Develop and maintain an internal Building Information System (BIS).
  • Monitor and complete real property tax abatement for buildings.
  • Ensure appropriate repair and maintenance of CAMBA sites.
  • Negotiate leases for new sites and extensions of existing leases.
  • Manage CAMBA's vehicle fleet, ensuring proper registration and maintenance.
  • Create and update the organization's Emergency Management Plan.
  • Administer CAMBA's Procurement Policy and ensure adherence.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, or a similar concentration.
  • Eight years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, procurement, and IT management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in nonprofit or government-funded organizations.
