About the position

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is a vital role within the Operational Services Division, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and contributing to the strategic growth of the agency. Reporting to the Assistant Secretary for Operational Services, the CAO collaborates across various business units to implement policies and ensure effective management of human resources, budgeting, and technology. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Operational Services Division.
  • Contribute to strategic growth through policy development and financial management.
  • Oversee annual budget development and revenue collection activities.
  • Manage human resources functions including labor relations, staffing, and payroll administration.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and agency regulations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on information technology applications and resources.

Requirements

  • At least six years of professional experience in business administration or public management.
  • Two years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Experience managing human resources, budgeting, and technology management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
