About the position

The Chief Architect (DevSecOps) at Sev1Tech, Inc. is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple client projects and ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions. This position involves managing engineering and IT processes, collaborating with technical teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead engineering and IT processes for planning, execution, and reporting including DevSecOps, Requirements and Interface Management, Architecture, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Integration, Verification and Validation, Transition, Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technology Services, SAP Solution, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Collaborate with technical teams to streamline processes and optimize the delivery of IT solutions and support services.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted adviser and ensuring client satisfaction with IT solutions and services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and innovation within IT solutions engineering capabilities.
• Support Technical Solutioning by designing architectures for both business development and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an ABET accredited university or college program.
• An educational equivalency of four (4) years of experience in a comparable assignment on an enterprise business system may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of a DoD Secret clearance.
• Seven (7) years of experience in the implementation of DoD enterprise IT program(s), performing systems engineering associated with the design, development, and implementation of IT.
• Three (3) years of experience in a senior leadership engineering position as a Chief Engineer, Technical Director, Engineering/Technical PM, or equivalent for a DoD IT program.
• Demonstrated experience with implementation of Enterprise Business Systems including DevSecOps, Requirements and Interface Management, Architecture, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Integration, Verification and Validation, Transition, Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technology Services, SAP Solution, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
