The CCO takes the lead on identifying and addressing potential legal and compliance issues and risks, and oversees the Legislative/Regulatory, Legal Compliance, Business Operations, Ethics, Equal Employment Opportunity and Internal Audit departments and functions. The NJEDA's Chief Compliance Officer leads the Authority's legal compliance functions to ensure that the NJEDA is compliant with all applicable laws, including statutes, rules and regulations, Executive Orders, circulars, and policies. The ideal candidate has substantial professional legal and/or experience, preferably in the public sector, with at least 5 years in middle to upper management positions and 5 years of federal compliance experience.
