About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technology infrastructure and systems supporting clinical, financial, and administrative operations.
  • Oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Ensure IT systems align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive sponsorship for EMR upgrades and ensure effective optimization of the EMR.
  • Cultivate relationships and collaborative work with leadership to support urgent needs.
  • Drive IT strategy and innovation within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in healthcare IT leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of success in driving IT strategy and innovation.
  • Prior CIO experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, NIST, HITECH, and CMS regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management.
