About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Prairie View Inc. will play a pivotal role in directing and overseeing the financial activities of the corporation. This position is responsible for the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, as well as creating forecasts that predict future growth. The CFO will work closely with other executives to ensure that the financial strategies align with the overall goals of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the board of directors, management, and staff. In addition to financial oversight, the CFO will be involved in administrative responsibilities, including supervision of the finance team, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives. The position also emphasizes professional development, ensuring that the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute positively to the work environment. The CFO will be expected to foster a collaborative atmosphere among co-workers and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that the financial operations support the mission of Prairie View Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or business administration, with a minimum of 8-10 years of industry-related experience, including at least three years in upper management. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong supervisory and leadership abilities, and extensive knowledge of industry best practices. The CFO will also need to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software is essential for this role.
