About the position

SAVARD Labor & Marine Staffing is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. The CFO will be tasked with developing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting leadership, preferably as a CFO or Comptroller, and will be proficient in various accounting and database applications. In this role, the CFO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate financial law and risk management practices. The position requires excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods, which will be essential for making informed financial decisions. The CFO will work closely with other executives to align financial goals with the company's strategic objectives. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at our Baton Rouge location. The salary range for this position is between $121,000 and $216,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a 5-panel drug screen and an extensive background check as part of the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in accounting leadership as a CFO or Comptroller
  • Must be proficient in database and accounting computer application systems
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Must have excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office and Quick Books
  • 5 PNL drug screen and extensive background check will be required
