ECI Group is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial systems and ensure our continued success as we grow. The CFO will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the company, providing strategic analysis and guidance to enhance our financial position. This position requires a seasoned strategist who is well-versed in current accounting practices and trends, with a proven track record in raising capital and adapting to changes in the business environment, whether through growth or downsizing. As a member of the senior management team, the CFO will be expected to communicate effectively and lead with clarity. In this role, the CFO will take responsibility for all aspects of cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting. This includes coordinating the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as ensuring that cash flow aligns with operational needs. The CFO will also be tasked with developing and implementing best practices to maintain a well-controlled yet flexible organization, ensuring strong fiscal management and effective project coordination across teams. The CFO will need to stay compliant with national and local financial regulations by keeping abreast of existing and new legislation. This role will involve working closely with senior managers to develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance and reporting. Additionally, the CFO will research revenue opportunities, analyze economic trends, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement. Risk management will be a key focus, as the CFO will analyze company liabilities and investments, manage the capital structure, and oversee fundraising initiatives. The role also includes overseeing HR operations in collaboration with external service providers and internal staff, monitoring business performance, and preparing detailed reports for earnings calls and management reviews. The CFO will manage finance personnel and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory entities, including the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Internal Revenue Service.
