About the position

B2B CFO is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is driven and entrepreneurial, with a strong background in helping business owners improve their operations. This role is designed for individuals who are interested in guiding business owners through the processes of buying or selling privately held companies. As a Partner with B2B CFO & B2B EXIT, you will have the unique opportunity to control your career while building a thriving consulting practice. This position allows you to leverage our well-recognized brand and esteemed reputation to create your own consulting practice focused on strategic business advisory services. In this role, you will provide a diverse range of services aimed at helping business owners increase cash flow, secure bank loans, ensure sustained profitability, and prepare their businesses strategically for future sales. You will be expected to utilize your expertise to assist clients in navigating complex financial landscapes, ultimately leading to improved business outcomes. This is a chance to work independently while being part of a larger network of professionals dedicated to excellence in financial consulting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a CFO, with experience in increasing company cash flow and involvement in the buying and selling of companies. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic business advisory services to business owners.
  • Assist clients in increasing cash flow and securing bank loans.
  • Guide business owners in preparing their businesses for sale.
  • Help clients navigate the buying and selling of privately held companies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multiple clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years as a CFO or equivalent (such as financial vice president/VP of finance) in privately held companies within the USA.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience since college graduation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Possession of Series 7 and/or 79 license.
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles.
