About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a pivotal leadership role within the Bank, specifically tailored for the financial functions of the organization. This position is responsible for guiding the Board of Directors on various aspects of Corporate Financial Management, which encompasses critical topics such as dividend policy, capital structure, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives. The CFO plays a crucial role in reviewing the Bank's investment portfolio, providing buy, hold, or sell recommendations directly to the CEO, and ensuring that the financial strategies align with the overall goals of the institution. In addition to these responsibilities, the CFO facilitates Management level ALCO and Board level Finance Committee meetings, where they report on key areas such as interest rate risk, liquidity, and the sources and uses of funds. The CFO is tasked with creating and maintaining the annual budget, providing detailed monthly reports to the Board of Directors regarding the Bank's financial performance compared to the approved budget and self-identified peers. Continuous improvement is a priority, and the CFO is responsible for seeking and implementing efficiencies through technology and automation wherever feasible. The role also involves conducting quantitative data analysis and financial modeling, focusing on branch profitability, loan and deposit portfolio parameters, and product profitability. The CFO must identify, measure, monitor, and control the model for Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) estimation and Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) calculation, alongside a general economic review related to potential credit loss outlooks. Furthermore, the CFO oversees the Bank's corporate credit card relationships, accounts payable processes, and wire funds transfers, both domestic and international. The CFO is expected to manage critical relationships within the Accounting and Finance sectors of the Bank, ensuring compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements while promoting an environment that supports diversity and upholds the Bank's core values. This role is not a remote or hybrid opportunity, emphasizing the importance of in-person leadership and collaboration within the Bank's operational framework.
