The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a pivotal leadership role within the Bank, specifically tailored for the financial functions of the organization. This position is responsible for guiding the Board of Directors on various aspects of Corporate Financial Management, which encompasses critical topics such as dividend policy, capital structure, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives. The CFO plays a crucial role in reviewing the Bank's investment portfolio, providing buy, hold, or sell recommendations directly to the CEO, and ensuring that the financial strategies align with the overall goals of the institution. In addition to these responsibilities, the CFO facilitates Management level ALCO (Asset-Liability Committee) and Board level Finance Committee meetings. This includes reporting on key areas such as interest rate risk, liquidity, and the sources and uses of funds, while also comparing financial metrics against CCB policy guidelines. The CFO is tasked with creating and maintaining the annual budget, providing detailed monthly reports to the Board of Directors regarding the Bank's financial performance in relation to the approved budget and its peers. The role also emphasizes the importance of continuous efficiency improvements through the leverage of technology and automation. The CFO conducts quantitative data analysis and financial modeling, focusing on branch profitability, loan and deposit portfolio parameters, and product profitability. Furthermore, the CFO is responsible for overseeing the model for Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) estimation, Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) calculation, and general economic reviews related to potential credit loss outlooks. In addition to these financial responsibilities, the CFO manages critical relationships related to Accounting and Finance, oversees the Bank's accounts payable process, and ensures compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements. The position also promotes a diverse work environment that aligns with the bank's core values, while completing all duties as assigned.
