About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position at MLee Healthcare is a leadership role focused on steering the financial strategy of an established healthcare facility in Kankakee, IL. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the hospital's mission and goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and standards.
• Manage revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, and reimbursements.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business / Health Administration or related field (Master's preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
• Previous progressive financial management experience, with some experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare finance regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
• Proven track record of effective financial leadership, strategic planning, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
